On Cloud K9 brings you the Life Skills Foundation Course. There are 6 weekly training classes of 55 minutes designed for dogs that could do with help in improving their life skills.
On Cloud K9’s courses are suited to all learning styles. Not only will you attend training sessions with other dogs and owners, but each week you’ll get access to information, lessons and videos to complement the training classes.
We use positive, force-free training methods that are based on scientific research.
Rather than focusing on specific issues, we help you teach your dog concepts such as confidence and impulse control in order to foster great life skills.
This course is games based and teaches you how to use modern, fun and positive methods to train and bond with your dog.
The number of dogs in a class is strictly limited and the spaces are allocated to the first people to pay the 50% deposit.
Bring your dog's arousal levels down by promoting calm.
Grow your dog's confidence to help them deal with life.
Give your dog the skills to be able to show self control.
Teach your dog to ignore distractions in the environment.
Your dog can experience excitement without becoming inappropriate in their behaviour.

People only retain 20-40% of what they are told. Our in-person training sessions are complemented by an online training course that you have access to for 6 months from the start of the training course. The online dog training course includes videos of what we did in each training session along with essential information to help you better understand your dog.
In our dog training courses, we teach the dogs valuable life skills by playing games. Games are essential for healthy development. We shape the dogs' brain by playing fun 3 minute games. Games based concept training teaches your dog valuable life skills, such as impulse control, focus, confidence, optimism, engagement and calmness.
We use fun, rewards and praise to teach the dogs great life skills, rather than force, fear or punishment. There's no need to use something that your dog doesn't like in order to get their compliance, such as kneeing them in the chest to stop them jumping up. We help you understand how your dog thinks and feels, so that you can feel more empathy for them.
The dog training world has come a long way in the last 20 years and we now know that dogs learn in the same way as humans do and that they have mental capabilities and emotional intelligence equivalent to a 2.5-year-old child. We are continually educating ourselves so that we can provide the most up to date training methods based on scientific research.
